Privacy in BC Gantt
How we use information to run your workspace and keep your team connected.

Information we process
We process account and invitation email addresses, business and trade details, project schedules, requests, private manager chat messages, comments, uploaded files and photos, and records of access and changes. Payment records include subscription status and customer identifiers. Stripe collects payment details directly; BC Gantt does not store card numbers.
Why we use it
We use this information to verify sign-ins, provide your workspace, deliver invitations and requested emails, manage subscriptions, show project activity to authorised managers, investigate faults and protect the service against misuse.
Who can see it
Workspace managers with access-management permission control invitations. Invited users can see and edit the areas allowed by their version and individual permissions. Client and View only versions cannot edit. Private requests are restricted to authorised managers and the people included in that request. Managers with People viewing permission can review access records. Separate customer workspaces have separate access permissions.
Our service providers process information needed to deliver their services: Stripe for website payments, Apple for Sign in with Apple and in-app subscriptions, Supabase for authentication, Resend for email delivery, and OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure for the application, database and file storage. Processing may take place outside Australia. We also use information to respond to support requests and legal obligations.
Team chat safety
Team chat is private to authorised project managers. You can report a message or block its sender from the message controls. Blocking hides messages between you and that sender in that project; it does not remove either person's project access. Your block list is private to your account. Project managers with user-administration permission can review reports and hidden messages, hide or restore messages, and manage project access. Report details and moderation decisions are retained with the project to investigate misuse and are included in account-deletion processing.
Live status and program viewing
While you use a signed-in, visible BC Gantt tab, the app sends a short live-status signal about every 25 seconds. Authorised workspace managers can see whether your tab is live, your access version, and when you last viewed the program chart and which program revision you viewed. A live signal expires after 75 seconds without a fresh signal; it does not prove that you are reading or accepting the program. Offline viewing and role previews do not send these records.
Each tab uses a temporary identifier to keep live status accurate when several tabs are open. Its live-status signal also reports the BC Gantt app release open in that tab, so authorised managers can identify copies that need refreshing. This is separate from your access version and the program revision you viewed. Live-status records, including app release reports, older than seven days are cleared as new signals arrive. Program-view records are retained with the project’s activity history. Activity is restricted to the same workspace and program access rules.
Website activity counts
On our public business website we count demo plays, checkout link clicks and prepared enquiry or feedback drafts as daily totals. The counters do not store visitor identifiers, entered text or IP addresses, and do not use tracking cookies. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Daily counts older than 90 days are cleared when new activity is received. The Bloxham site owner can also see aggregate checkout and fulfilled purchase counts derived from payment records; other customers and invited users cannot access this report.
Optional voice dictation
Voice dictation starts only when you choose Start microphone and allow microphone access. Your browser may send audio to its speech service for processing, which may require an internet connection. BC Gantt does not record or store the audio. Transcripts stay in the open page until you choose Insert text; inserted text follows the normal saving and access permissions of its field. You can stop or cancel dictation at any time.
Your device and saved copies
BC Gantt uses browser storage and sign-in cookies to operate the app. Saved offline copies and downloaded exports can remain on your device. Use a trusted device, sign out on shared devices, and remove downloaded or offline copies when you no longer need them.
Access, correction and deletion
Open Account → Delete account in the program, or Help → Delete account in the app. You can also open account deletion settings directly. Confirm your identity and submit the request there; no support call or email is required. Bloxham Construction processes requests manually within 30 days and sends a completion notice. A receipt shows whether the request is received, processing, cancelled or completed. You can withdraw an unfinished request in account deletion settings.
Deletion includes your sign-in account, profile, memberships and associated personal data, including your contributed content and files. Owned workspaces, shared records, backups and billing are reviewed during processing. Records belonging to others are not automatically erased. Any records retained to meet tax or legal obligations or resolve disputes, and their retention period, will be explained in the completion notice. Copies already downloaded to devices remain on those devices. A minimal deletion receipt is retained to record the outcome.
Account deletion does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; manage renewal in your Apple Account subscriptions. Website billing is checked during deletion processing. Contact us separately for access, correction or a privacy concern.
Cancellation stops future subscription renewals; it does not automatically delete project information. You can view and export retained project information after paid access ends. Contact us before relying on long-term retention or if you want a workspace removed.
